About Me:

Hello Hawks! My name is Ms. Torres, and I have been a teacher for 2 years. I enjoy reading, playing with my rabbit, and crocheting. I have spent my summer doing those things and traveling to Alaska! While I have been enjoying my break, I look forward to being a part of the Hawks Nest this year! 

Experience in Education:

• 6 years doing before/after school care
• 2 years teaching elementary
• 1st year teaching 6th grade!

Goals:

I am passionate about including all voices in the classroom and incorporating student interests in my teaching. I also strive to support all students where they are at so they can grow and become the best versions of themselves.
