About Me:

Music, piano, handbells, marine biology, kayaking, fitness, panda bears, killer whales, and my Christian faith are all important pieces of my life. Teaching is an important part of my life, and you will find me happiest when in the presence of young people eager to learn and welcoming of challenges.

Experience in Education:

Acton and Agua Dulce have welcomed me as an honorary member of their amazing communities for over 38 years. I have been blessed to work with incredible students and appreciative families for my entire teaching career.

Goals:

Goals for this year and every year are to inspire a generation of young people to embrace a love of learning and an attitude of perseverance when things get difficult. My personal teaching philosophy is summarized with the phrase: "High Expectations and Mutual Respect."
