    Hello Meadowlark families,

Our Super Scholar this week demonstrates hard work and is eager to participate in class. Congratulations to Leeah Wilson in Mrs. Jacobsohn’s class. Our next Super Scholar is a highly motivated student and has reached 400% of his AR goal. Congratulations to Justin Hollister in Mrs. Wheeler’s room.

On Friday, your child brought home a flyer for the Scholar Dollar Program. This program is sponsored by The Office of the State Treasurer of California. Meadowlark has an opportunity to win $10,000 for educational support and enrichment activities. All you have to do is log on to  http://www.myscholardollars.com/vote/?show_school=2885 and look for our school and vote! We can vote once a day per email address. You do need to be 18 years of age or older. The first time you vote, you have to watch a super short 90 second video and confirm your email address. After this first time, you won’t have to do that again. Voting started today and runs through March 22nd. So after you hear this message, go vote and tell all of your friends and relatives to vote every day. The school that has the most votes will be awarded the prize in their category. We know you will help Meadowlark earn this amazing prize!

The Young Americans Workshop is happening this Thursday-Saturday at the Vasquez High School Gym. This opportunity is open to all 3rd-12th-grade students and helps build confidence through music and performing arts. The registration fee is $45 and includes a free t-shirt. Go online to youngamericans.org for more information. There are also flyers available in the office for more information.

Thank you and have a wonderful evening.
