Dear Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District Families,
The health and safety of our students, staff, and community are of utmost importance to the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District. With that in mind, we want to make you aware that we received notification yesterday that one of the food service workers participating in meal service on January 5th and 6th at Vasquez High School has since tested positive for COVID-19.
This person has not been on campus since Wednesday, January 6th. This person will not return to the building until they have met all CDC and LA County Department of Public Health (LACDPH) guidance and protocols.
The staff at the school site has been informed and the kitchen facility and bus have been thoroughly cleaned and sanitized. As part of AADUSD's health and safety protocols, all staff wear face coverings, and gloves during meal prep and service. Based on CDC and LACDPH guidelines, the risk of transmission to the public and other staff is considered low.
To be safe, any students or families who participated in the meal program along our meal delivery route #2 on January 5th and 6th should watch for symptoms of COVID-19.
Further guidance on COVID-19 can be found at:

Thank you and have a nice day,
Kimberlee Shaw
