Monday Message

Posted by Tess Toledo on 11/4/2019

I would like to thank you all for your patience as we process the events that have occurred in the past few weeks. I hope this finds all of our families safe and doing well. The health and safety of our staff and students will always be our priority. Please make sure the school has your most updated contact information so that you receive all School and District messages. Again, we appreciate your patience and understanding.

Our Super Scholar this week is an exemplary student who takes pride in her work and is an outstanding citizen. Congratulations to Ailen Cabrera in Mrs. Cox’s class. Our next Super Scholar is a student who comes to school ready to learn and is a good friend to everyone. Congratulations to Amy Mora in Mrs. Fernandez’ class.

Picture re-takes will be tomorrow. Please send in your picture envelopes if you would like your child’s picture re-taken or if they were absent last month on the original picture day. The staff photo will be taken tomorrow morning also.

PTO will be extending the cookie fundraiser until Friday, November 8th. All envelopes can be turned in at that time.

Friday is a minimum day so teachers can work on report cards. Meadowlark’s student council also wanted to have a costume spirit day to allow students to wear their costumes or spirit wear to school since they did not have the opportunity to do so last week. Students may wear their costumes to school, but we ask that no masks or toy weapons be brought to school. Our dress code still applies so please note those restrictions. Again, Friday will be a minimum day and all students will be dismissed at 12:40. And as you know, Monday is Veteran’s Day and there will be no school.
