Thank you to everyone who attended Back to School night last week. It’s always fun to see our parents get excited and learn about their child’s classroom.

Wednesday, September 11th is Patriot Day. We encourage all students to wear red, white, and blue in honor of those who died and risked their lives during the 9/11 tragedy. Discussions of heroes, patriotism and community service will be a focus in the classroom, but we encourage you to talk to your child at home, about this historic day.

I’d like to say a big thank you to all of you who are picking up your students in the valet line and blue line. You set such a great example by using the crosswalks and following Meadowlark’s simple rules of driving all the way forward in the valet line. Remember, if you need an orange name card for your car, they are available right outside the office. If you are walking to pick up your child, please walk to the front of the school where the blue line is.  Blue line students should not be picked up at the car valet area.
