We have a busy last week coming up! We had our Kinder-3rd grade awards assembly today and celebrated our students who met their AR goals this trimester, as well as all 3 trimesters.

On Thursday, our 4th grade will have a special assembly to receive their monthly classroom awards, and 3rd trimester AR awards, as well as students who met their AR Goals all 3 trimesters. We will also be wishing our 4th graders farewell, as they move on to High Desert for 5th grade. PTO is providing a special dessert treat for our 5th graders after the assembly.

On Tuesday, students who were at school on time, every day, for the month of May will participate in our special Ice Cream Social, given by our Superintendent, Mr. King. We will have almost 100 students participating! That’s a lot of ice cream, whipped cream, and sprinkles! Congratulations to all of these students, and thank you to all of the parents who supported this effort!

We especially want to recognize the following students who had perfect attendance all year! Siena DeBellis, David Lash, Mason Puett, Alexandra Rojo, and Gabriel DeBellis. That’s amazing! Congratulations!

On Wednesday, students who met their AR Goal for all three trimesters will be treated to a Kona Ice party. This will be a fun event for our students who have worked hard reading all year!

The Acton-Agua Dulce School District has partnered with the Acton Library  for a Summer Reading Challenge. This challenge will begin on June 10th to July 9th. Details can be found on our website, as well as the district website.

Thursday is our last day of school and it will be a minimum day. All students will be dismissed at 12:40. It has been an honor being your Principal at Meadowlark this school year. Have a safe, restful summer break!
