Good evening Meadowlark Families. This is your Principal, Mrs. Toledo with your Monday Message. Our Super Scholars this week are Amber Moore in Mrs. Fernandez’s class and Leslie Sampedro from Mrs. Martin’s class.  Amber is always ready to learn and is a great helper to her teacher and friends. Leslie is a hard working student who shows initiative to learn new things. Way to go Super Scholars! Congratulations to our Student Council Officers for the 2018-19 school year: Sergeant at Arms- Kaydyn Botton, Secretary-Hallie Bilbruck, Treasurer- Destiny Baker, Vice President- Cambria McCormick and President- Hailey Honicky. I want to say a big congratulations to all of our candidates who bravely made the effort to run and stood up and gave speeches last week. Their words were amazing and impressive and I predict a bright future ahead. I am very proud of all of them. Wednesday is Halloween and students will be allowed to wear their costumes if they choose to, however, they may not use or bring masks or head-gear, nor wear make-up. Accessories, such as swords or wands or any weapon-like items may not be brought to school. Appropriate shoes must be worn and costumes must still adhere to Meadowlark’s dress code. Thank you for supporting our policies. PTO is still collecting Tri-R-a-Thon money. Please feel free to turn that in to the office. A reminder also, that there is no school on Thursday, Nov.1st and Friday, Nov. 2nd due to Staff Development. Our teachers will be sharpening their skills and learning new strategies to use with our students. Thank you for listening and have a good night.
