We hope that you have had a chance to visit Meadowlark’s website where you can order Spiritwear. We are offering t-shirts, polo’s, sweatshirts, sweat pants and other fun items to show off your Meadowlark spirit. All orders are done online and are shipped directly to your home. If you order between Friday, October 23rd and Monday, November 9th, there will be no charge for shipping. Check out the website in this email and get your new Meadowlark spiritwear! This week is Red Ribbon Week. This is the largest Drug Abuse awareness campaign that is recognized across the United States. This year’s theme happens to go along with our own Bee theme. Be Happy, Be Brave, Be Drug Free. Teachers will be discussing Red Ribbon Week and the importance of living a healthy lifestyle. Our PTO has also provided our students with a goodie bag and each day students are encouraged to make the week special. Tomorrow is Crazy Hair Day, on Wednesday everyone is encouraged to wear red, and on Thursday kids could wear their Halloween costumes! Parents, if you want to submit pictures of your child for our yearbook, please see the link that is attached to this email.

Friday is a Professional Development Day for all Teachers and Instructional Aides. There will be no school for students as the staff learns new skills to work with students to ensure the best instruction possible.

Thank you for your patience with the ongoing power outages. We will update you again when we have more information to share. We hope you are all safe and healthy.
